as I said the pool of teams is smaller and global coverage is smaller because few countries have women teams. As for advertisers, Coke, Visa and a few other global brands put money into the World Cup so advertisers are not shy, it is just the size of the audience is smaller. As I have stated many times, revenues is the reason for difference in pay and that will never change.

What proof do you have the US women's team does not give a damn about our country? First of all, citizens don't owe any allegiance to a President nor are they required to suck his dick be it Trump, Obama, Bush, Clinton (well ok that one does not fit). What law requires sport's teams to bow down to a President? Is he a god or king?

Maybe you need to take Trump down off of your pedestal, he is an elected official. Now I understand why people were so hard over his military parade and Salute to Trump.

 

If you're trying to grow a marginal sport like women's soccer, it doesn't make a lot of sense to repel half your potential audience. If I had a young daughter, I would do everything possible to discourage her from playing soccer and being exposed to odious people like Rapinoe and a few of the other US players, not to mention having them preyed on by aging dykes.

 

If there are gay people in the sport, keep your kids out of it. Got it.

 

The Radical Leftists lost their s**t when Tim Tebow was supportive of his religion on the football field. If an athlete wants to make political statements, especially using a medium paid for by someone else, they subject themselves criticism, as it should be and perhaps a advertising bill as well.

Many fans use sports and other forms of entertainment as a relief from either the more mundane or stressful aspects of their life. Most, I suspect, do not want to be reminded how fooked up our politics are.
