yes, as has been done countless times over human right abuses & other unacceptable behavior not befitting of modern civilization, for instance, artificial island building to annex international waters.

Let's not paint China to be some wounded puppy here. Who's been providing infrastructure-leveraged credit all over Africa & S. America in a neocolonization effort?

All correct what you state. However, you always escape my real question: you paint a despotic nation as being unethical and point out their wrongs. I agree with your assessment.

BUT, what about your assessment of a nation that claims to be on the right side of personal freedoms and democracy. Where is your outcry about American invasion of countries for the mere reason of securing resources? Where is your outcry about meddling in Germany and Europe in a pipeline project that does violate international laws, does not abuse human rights, does nothing illegal nor unethical? (and if you point out Russia I could as well point out the US). Where is your outcry about meddling in Afghanistan and Persia and switching from one side to another multiple times whenever it is politically expedient? You keep on using despotic countries as your benchmark. Is this the best the US should be measured against or should not other benchmarks be used? You cry foul about Russian meddling in US elections but find no fault in US meddling in Ukraine or Hong Kong or Taiwan? Isn't that hypocrisy?

Right, I thought so, that you can't answer those questions as it would bring to light the blatant hyprocrisy.

Bottom line, HK is sovereign Chinese territory, every nation on earth fully acknowledges that. China can do in HK what it pleases. The US has zero business in meddling in China's affairs. And if we want to talk about China's human rights abuses or the violation of an agreement between China and the UK (of which the US has never been part of) then it should better come from someone who either comes from a country with a clean track record or otherwise from someone honest and open enough to not only see black and white but able to admit that one's own country has messed up at least as often as China. All else is hypocrisy. I don't even entertain the posts of trolls (not you) who have nothing of value to add but are brainwashed and infected by the superiority complex bug. I do like your otherwise intelligent and well thought out content in other threads by the way.
