Could you still stand as a candidate for POTUS if the FBI declares a criminal investigation into you? I doubt it.
I think you may not be clear on the whole criminal justice system here in the U.S. You know, that whole pesky 6th Amendment thing, where we have investigations to find out if we have any evidence of a criminal act, then if the investigation finds anything, grand juries to decide if the evidence rises to the level to indict, the the whole trial by jury thing, right to an attorney, innocent until proven guilty...that whole Constitution thing is so inconvenient when we're not talking bout the right to bear arms isn't it?
Funnily enough I was suggesting the same thing to my wife this morning. I suspect that if we have had this thought independently, many others have as well. The problem is, the DNC, who arguably are the only "authority" to weigh in at this late hour on the Dem's candidate, are hopelessly compromised by their support for HRC. And they may not legally have the right to do so in any event. So what does that leave? A choice between a radical candidate who has presented a lack of suitability to take on the role, or a candidate who has been proven to be a liar (including possible perjured testimony to the FBI which is an indictable offense) and in my opinion is massively corrupt based on the Clinton Foundation relationship. If HRC does get elected, she will be a lame duck president right out of the chute, as more time will be spent on defending herself as the further email story unfolds, than will be spent running the country. Think WJC's presidency when he was impeached. This is a classic "rock and a hard place" choice, and I don't see a reasonable and legal solution at this late hour, unless HRC voluntarily steps down and endorses Bernie Sanders as a "write-in" candidate. Not likely to happen, but we can dream, can't we?
This is what happens if Trump wins next week!!! http://www.cnbc.com/2016/11/01/what-happens-to-the-markets-if-donald-trump-wins.html
If Trump wins this election he would achieve something impossible. How can one win the election without votes from African-Americans/Latinos and women?!
Yeah, we can theorise about it, but knowing HRC and how badly she wants to be a president I can easily conclude that she'll never step down. But at the same time. I still don't believe that Trump stands a chance, simply because a lot of people just never will vote for him.
