Make no mistake....The number one issue regarding the economic calamity that has put a claim on the wealth of millions of people worldwide....Is to put to rest the issue of the CCC to AAA conversion.... Investors throughout the world of all types thought that they were buying AAA rated paper....when it was actually CCC paper or less.... Rule #1 is that rats nor cats did this.... people with actual names and faces did this.... The US has yet failed to identify who and where these people actually are....and just how they pulled this off.... Don't believe it ? Just ask any one of the buyers if they would have bought this paper had it been rated CCC....which is exactly what it was....not AAA....just the opposite.... The whole securitization could/should remain in place had the paper simply been marked with the proper label.... Has this issue been resolved ? No.... Why not ?
