US-Israeli Friendship

  5. Actually not true. The US did nothing for Israel during the first war, and the US helped arm Israel's enemies later on just as much as they helped Israel.

  6. Today, without the millions of dollars a day help of the US, and without the unwritten rule that we will defend Israel, do they exist?

    The unseen hand of the US was there from the beginning, don't kid yourself.

    Other cohesive, politically active and savvy minority groups in the US have "outsized" political influence. Cubans for example.

  10. If they existed against absolutely amazing odds in the beginning without US help, then yes, today they would be. And this is doubly true if US helped stop today, after the help Israel has already gotten, even though Egypt gets almost as much.
