Just a quick note on this. While the official photos have been taken, it normally takes a while to distribute large copies for display in federal office buildings. Locations in D.C. tend to get the first batches of photos for display (understandably), however locations outside of D.C. usually wait for months before the new large photos are available for display. It will probably take until May before remote VA locations, etc. are displaying the new President and Vice President photos. The last time Trump was elected I was working in the government building every week in D.C. (as a contractor) -- it too about 2 1/2 months for the new photos to be put up but the old photos of Obama / Biden were taken down on day 1 after the inauguration.
The DMV is the slowest. I've had drivers license in Kentucky, South Dakota, Illinois, and Georgia. I remember going into the DMV for whatever reasons or with a fellow soldier many months after a new administration...the photos of the new President and Vice President were still not up on the walls but they did remove the photos of the former President and Vice President. Kentucky (a red state) was too slow to have photos of the new elected officials on their government building walls but Illinois (a blue state) would have photos of new elected officials on the walls before Kentucky. The fastest I've seen was Bush. I do not think one week went by before I saw his face on the walls of our headquarters and the entrance into the base weight rooms/fitness centers. wrbtrader
