oh, ffs, all the feds needed was the goons ransom address: https://blockchain.coinmarketcap.com/chain/bitcoin
Maybe, maybe not. I have my doubts about the whole thing seeing how certain elites were telling us there would be cyberattacks last fall...then voila, here they come.
I still don't "get" bitcoin. Seems like fake digital monopoly money. I'm not touching it, seems phony, risky.
Barking dogs seldom bite. Dogs that don't bark are much more dangerous. Governments don't tell what they are able of. Because that would weaken the effect if they take action. NSA never told they read billions of emails around the world. Because that would wake up sleeping dogs and damage the result of the operation. European police managed last year to break the code of the sky phones that were used by thousands of criminals. They did not tell that they were able to do so. They waited and gathered as much information as possible. As the criminals were thinking they were untouchable, they gave a massive amount of information to the police. That information was used to put them behind bars. Yesterday something similar happened in 19 countries around the world. Again the police was able to do the impossible and caught again hundreds of criminals. https://www.al.com/news/2021/06/fbi...shield-lead-to-800-arrests-in-16-nations.html Nobody has any idea how hard the crypto's can be hurt. And those who know it, will not tell it. The safety feeling is most probably fake. Future will tell. if the US can destroy the profits made by Russian professionals, they surely can do that with joe average who is holding crypto's.
