US Equity Markets Closed Tuesday Jan 2nd

    why dont they close for the whole month of january....

    how can you day trade and make decent money... there are way too many days the market is closed imo....

    agree as well...

    I guess that gives those guys who recevied those big fat bonuses an extra day to them its a 4 day weekend.
  8. So does anyone know if the nyse is going to be closed on Tuesday or not? I can't imagine the nasdaq closed and the nyse open?

    In memory of President Gerald R. Ford, and in accordance with our country's national day of mourning, The NASDAQ Stock Market® and its trading systems will be closed on Tuesday, January 2, 2007. All other U.S. equities markets will also be closed in observance of this day.
