A rather simple example would be Chavez versus US Capitalism... The oil assets under a socialistic Chavez approach have a much smaller or rather nonaccessible valuation than does a company such as Exxon...Also...the noted drop in development incentives....and the simple walking around a Chavez type facility versus a well run Exxon facility is quite obvious... Likewise one could view the recent China Oil Company Assets that are now listed...that were not listed before...in a similar fashion.. .................................................................................................. You'll have to leave the country to do that. When the $USD is trashed enough, it won't matter if your net worth is in the Gazillions... you still won't be able to buy anything with your currency.
