Does the graduate scheme at proprietary trading firm satisfy the requirements for a United States' E3 visa?

As an Australian citizen, I am eligible for a US work visa for a job that requires a bachelor's degree. It seems a little trick as the a prop. firm will start with training first, however does that qualify as employment?

    Another Question:

Can anyone please help me out with getting a position at a prop. firm?
I am in the final year of my Bachelor of Commerce degree (double major - Accounting and Finance) at Monash University, Australia.
