US Dollar and Oil

Hi,

can someone answer me this question.

"Why when oil price drop, US Dollar will go up(bullish)?"

 

Which happens first?

 

I'm not sure which happen first but everytime when i see oil bearish and i see USD bullish.

 

If dollar is stronger then it takes fewer dollars to equal one barrel, assuming nothing else changes.
