Funny thing though... I used to work for the police in a UK regional HQ, pretty high security with full DV. There were posters everywhere about not letting social media or forums (even political commentary on Mums UK forums etc. as this happened to a female uniformed) destroy your career (don't be a Faceboob etc). If a lawyer tied you to anything, that was then end of your career or promotion damaging. A guy told me he had to fire someone seemingly every couple of days for something they said or a relative repeated. He was really upset at firing otherwise good people who just could not keep zipped. It slowed the developed vetting process and one needed to declare all social media & accounts, including things like fishing/car forums. I'm glad to be free of all that, not that I care about Facebook. I assume there is a similar requirement for someone like yourself? Do you think it is wise to be on this forum? Is the USA really in a state where people who work in intelligence just can't help but waste time in the dank end of a trading forum?

that is not the point. I have never been in the military nor have I been a govt contractor to top secret programs. But, I have been around shit ton of them living in San Diego. I am not the one claiming my wife's got top secret clearance, so I don't know. But, I have seen some of the stuff. Its never been a telephone card.

GETS cards are provided with to any current or former "employee" who maintains a security clearance. Issued by DHS on behalf of the agency in question. I am sure their are many reasons to hold a GETS card. I know why she has her card. I am sure there are tens of thousands of them issued. If Poindexter has held any State, CIA, NSA, DHS, DOD/DIA position--then he should have one. It's issued to all current and former feds holding clearances.
