US declares China currency manipulator

  1. This is on the topic of currency manipulation. Again please show a detailed example where and how the US manipulates the US dollar. You made up the claim so I just like some factual backup.

    All governments and central banks manipulate their currencies either directly or indirectly through their policies and media releases. One method is no more ethical than the other - that's the point.

  6. i don't know, timing was bad but ytd the rmb depreciation is in low single-digit? doesn't look too manipulative as of now

  10. Why the US should not conduct itself like a third world dictator? Well it does in many areas but it should not, after all it claims to be the leader of the free world that celebrates free markets. Can't have it both ways. Did that answer your rather simple question?
