US Citizens Starting To Rebel Against Wall Street

  1. She f'd herself if she votes for republicans. Being the tea-bagger type, I suspect she does vote crooked.

The bailout was in fact approved by people like her who never questioned the shrub on his unamerican actions.

No group has done more damage to banking than republican deregulation of that industry.

They did not deregulate because these crooks are for "small govt", which the last decade has proven to be false. But simply they are all crooks on some corporations payroll

deregulation has benefited the crooks inside these corporations and now the entire culture inside these banks is now brazenly crooked as the good people have been pushed out.

And yes. Credit is not a god given right. She should have read the fine print before engorging herself with what she thought was free money.

  2. The banks shouldn’t be allowed to put undue pressures on it’s customers during the worst financial crisis in 70 years.

When banks intentionally raise rates, and raise min amounts due during this crisis “ after taking tax payer money” it’s no different than running over someone the backing up and running over them again.

She said she was unemployed, how long would you last without steady cash flow.

  3. Everything was fine till she lost her job. Everyone was caught off guard, even the Federal Reserve. Guess she listened to them and thought everything was going to be contained and her job was secure.

  4. Just look at the terrible example that’s being set by this countries leaders, raising the debt ceiling over and over. Spending the public’s money to bail out banks that made bad bets.

Privatize the profits, socialize the loss, all at the tax payers expense, It’s know wonder people feel the way they do towards the banksters..

These are the facts, plain and simple. Set a better example, live within your means Washington DC.

And anyone who thinks Bank of America should still be in business is equally an ass.

  6. That's not a good question to ask of me (if that's what you meant).... I'm not typical. I studied financial planning when I was young and have practiced it all along. I would have NEVER allowed myself to be in her shoes regarding CCs... regardless. I've never bought ANYTHING I couldn't pay cash for.

The only financial issue in my life is whether/how fast the government destroys my wealth for their self-serving and greedy issues.

Valid points, unfortunately we are getting past the point of reason and discourse.

revolutions are bloody affairs. And yes you can commend those who are willing to take a stand and risk things.

Also her point is not just close her account and go away and accept the continued behavior of financial institutions

She wants to penalize them for their behavior.

Its not enough to hold up your end of the bargain, if you are permitting and faciliting the problems.

It's immoral to simply cheat another with the intention of never paying.

But this is not the case. She is not quietly hiding the fact she has not paid, she is acknowledging it and stating why and accepting the consequences.

People need to read Thoreau On Civil Disobedience

This what happens when you shit where you eat.

    Unintended Consequences.

  8. people don't need to read Thoreau. They need to vote on the issues that effect their own lives instead of trying to legislate how everyone else lives.

god, guns and gays needs to be moved into the state and local level so more important issues can be dealt with at the national level.

And more importantly, Everyone STOP voting republican.

They're all crooks on the corporate take. There are a few democrat crooks, republicans are ALL crooks on the level of Ton DeLay. All republicans are corporate funded tools.

She needs to vote for someone like Sen. Bernie Sanders who is working to cap usury in banking.

With the new laws that kicked your statement is likely to be true but before that it's up to the CC company to let you opt out. Not all will let you opt out. If you choose not to agree you will need to pay off the card immediately. I know that first hand because Chase did that to me back in June 09.

  10. There was a time in this country's (U.S.) history when close to 100% of people would have marked this women as a complete idiot. I rest my case.
