Risk = losing car, rusting the frame and all the other metal, possibly getting wet and losing life Reward = Absolutely nothing but proving a point to everyone while getting to where you are going No thanks i'm good
%% TOOk a while , to realize the liquidity danger + lack of liquidity danger [drought] THIS maybe in the owners manual,[not just for manLOL] sorry, with average comp level=it needs to be. BE careful around Chicom New Year, sat nite, holidays, rain or hail; i noticed a lot of drunks then .......... Owners manual note be careful around kangaroos ,crocs , alligators, bears ,bison
When I was growing up so many TV characters playing millionaires and billionaires were shown to have full time live in chauffeurs. I guess some of the rich still have them, but they don't seem to be as fashionable as they were 50 years ago.
Because halfwit; that would be a comparative argument. It's like saying hey too bad the guy lost both is legs but our lawnmower has saved thousands in valuable man hours. No one cares about that. This issue is the death of a human being in a terrible circumstance. When you die it's an "absolute" condition, not comparative. As evolved humans we appreciate that and express condolences.
Hey halfwit, you're talking about the value of a human life but go on to say that no one cares about a saved human life from bulletproof glass? Well what is it? Do you care about a life or not? And its not my problem or anyone elses if someone is too careless to drive their own car into a lake. Its not the cars fault, its not my fault, so quit trying to point the blame
I was making a joke, but since you brought it up, it's a TSLA, not a Chyrsler. Freshwater is not going to rust the frame of most vehicles lol. (Any more than they would already rust from normal use that is.) An ICE produces positive pressure in the exhaust pipe, as long as a vehicle is running and water doesn't get in the air intake... the engine will be fine. Now if the car was a two stroke.... not sure such a thing exists... but if it was, yeah, you might wanna keep that exhaust pipe from being submerged. Oh, and about the glass in her TSLA, it's not bulletproof, but it is double laminated. Tough to be sure... but in her final thoughts, I bet she never considered the diamond ring on her hand which I'm sure she had, being a billionaire and all. One good smack and it will shatter that glass. Kinda like a broken sparkplug will do. It can then be kicked out. ~This has been your automotive engineering minute for the day... courtesy of VZ.
I like such a mechanism. It works in a dry AND wet environment. But don't turn it when you are a mile underwater. Because by then, the water pressure on the window would be too high.
