  3. In florida there is lots and lots of lakes, canals, retention ponds, rivers, flood prone roads. Most all cars today have full electric (doors, locks, windows)...which means any water will make escape impossible. Florida also has lots old people driving around. There are many situations ( I tried my self to help get an old couple out of a sinking car once). Once the water comes up against the window its almost impossible from the outside to help. They do sell ball peen egress tools everywhere in florida, but most old people dont think/react in time.

I am not just talking about driving into a pond. When there are flood waters and a lady is driving home with her kids and the waters come up into the electrical...The car and people are trapped in the flood water (prolly the deepest part) without means of even rolling down the window.

Seems like there should be some built in escape mechanism for this situation in this day and age of 2024 (especially in very expensive cars)

Why would anyone be trying to drive through flood waters to begin with? The engine would instantly malfunction, it's just common sense to stay out of water while you're driving. I don't need a waterproof car for that 1% chance I am going to be an idiot one day and try to drive through a flooded river. Does this make any sense to you???

How to ride a motorcycle through the flood?

make sure the buoyancy force is not that strong.
for cars, the buoyancy force is too strong.
So you have to flood the car to reduce the buoyancy force.

The exhaust pipe must not be flooded. install an additional tube to make sure
the exhaust pipe is not flooded.

For those who stay in such an area, too bad you have to ride through the flood
    everyday.

    ENJOY the ride!

  6. In the summer time there are huge down pours. Florida is a tropical state... it has heavy tropical rains all summer long. And the Rains come very fast and heavy...without warning. The roads have high medians and large curbs in the urban city and extended sprawl. The roads are often poorly engineered and there are numerous low points at intersections and stretches of road. The roads are congested and cars are mostly stopped in traffic when the rains pour heavily. The low points can retain up to 2 feet of water. The drainage systems cant handle the huge amount of sudden water.

Not sure how much better I can explain this...you dont seem to have the capacity to understand what I am speaking about. It seems to be beyond your comprehension.

...you also have to blast the alligators away before you open the door. :)

I hear this was Mitch McConnell's car and since he is a turtle, he can stay underwater for 4-5 hours.

Yeah you are absolutely right. I dont have a clue what it would be like to drive through a flooded area. Because to do that, i would have to be a dumb stupid idiot driver that thinks driving through water is possible, and that would be impossible for me to attempt. I would have to be a complete stupid idiot fool that takes chances with his life and car so that would be impossible for me to do, because I am not one. So no, i have no idea what you are talking about buddy. Sorry i cant empathize with you on that but i am definitely not on your level.

And guess what else? I've lived in Florida almost my enire life, and not once have i ever even thought about driving my car through water. Whenever i see water i just stop, put my car in reverse, do a U-turn and drive the other way. Easy peezy.

I carry a 4' section of clothes dryer flex pipe, and when it rains I use duct tape to attach it to my air cleaner and make a snorkle. You haven't lived until you hit 3' of water at 30mph.
