US activist loses eye after being shot in face with tear gas canister

And what exactly was that idiot doing in the middle of an unauthorized, violent demonstration? Why did not she go home at the first sight of violence, why was she there in the war zone in the first place?
He said Palestinian youths were hurling rocks, but Henochowicz didn't participate in any violence and was standing at a distance.

Oh but she is a member of the ISM. Instigating these demonstrations and violence and adding fuel to the fire is the sole purpose of her organization. She is lucky she did not end up like her Darwin award qualifying predecessor - Rachel Corrie.

BTW, the quote above proves that the soldier was not shooting in the crowd where the chances of hitting someone would have been extremely high. The soldier was aiming at a distance from the crowd. She happened to be in the wrong place in the wrong time and she has no one to blame but herself.

 

Laughable, until you can prove that teargas canisters can be accurately shot "from a distance".

 

Well at least some good came out of the incident.

On Friday 13, 2009 American Citizen Tristan Anderson was shot in the head by a Tear Gas Canister fired by Israeli Occupation Forces in the Village in Nil'in, Palestine.

As evidenced by this video Israeli Forces routinely aim for the faces of non-violent protesters.

While she's clearly at fault here for losing her eye, we should not lose sight (bwahahahaha) of the fact that had she been a 'bagger protesting, say, the president's radical socialism, and it was our own police who shot out her eye, then she would naturally be the victim (of leftwing thuggery).
