I was in the bathroom washing my hands when suddenly the hot water knob on the sink just literally blew in the air and started spewing HOT water everywhere. I immediately turned water off to the house and there is still how water coming out of where the faucet was. In the basement area where the pipes are there is sheetrock all over the floor like something busted. My phone is dead and won't pick up a charge so I have to drive to Safeway and use theirs. IS it possible that I had a pipe burst (Its like 50 degrees currently so very warm for a winter night) Anybody that has any advice or knowledge I would sincerely appreciate your help! Thanks in advance.
Update, I bled the lines but can't find water turn off valves underneath the sink. The water to the whole house is off.
