Urgent Message From Rennick

Discussion in 'Trading' started by William Rennick, Jul 17, 2007.

  1. Market seems to want to ramp up ahead of the announcement. . .yet should continue to fall further into Bear territory.

Perhaps this afternoon. We will have to wait and see.

  2. I want to short the ES from 1200 so bad... Fed decision and other waves of uncertainty prevent it however. Perhaps short at 1210ish after Fed decision. Will see...

    A massive miss this afternoon.

Are we going to attribute that to AIG?

Are you holding overnight to see if the deflating ball will fulfill itself with hot air?

  5. No, the "Ball" makes it's forecasts on all days including Fed days. However, the recommended guidelines for trading the "Ball" clearly advise against trading on Fed days, or in front of major news. I've stated this many times here, but apparantly not enough.

    Rennick out:cool:

ps. tboner4, didn't Ivan ID you as yet another alias of rubberbird/ rowschwanz? If so welcome back, we all had a blast kicking the crap out of your last 5 alias's.

Perhaps the fact that this is triple witching Friday has something to do with the odd behavior of the market and giving the ball a rather hard time. It seems there are forces at work that do not want the market to go down precipitously before friday, and are making an effort to prop this mess up in the face of monday's 500 pt down day. It seemed so odd to me that the market closed strongly in the face of the Fed holding the line on rates. Something is not right here. I need a couple aspirin.

  10. Hey Billy. How are you doing? The latest time I commented on your call, I was again right. You see I never miss (at least when I comment here).

If you need help, do not be shy. I think I can make those calls of you, a lot better (possibly perfect).

PS: buy AIG if it opens above $1.25, and comes a bit down to that area early in the opening. otherwise do not touch (till I tell you :p )
