Agreed, there was a news related spike in prices with the Averages settling to the very top of contarys Neutral range. For purposes of grading accuracy, the calls need to be judged from point A to B, which is when the call is made and finishing at 12 noon New york. A good case could definately be made that someone lucky enough to be long when the treasury rumors hit would have had a good day. The "Ball" doesn't see rumors and was advising not to trade. And I am not seeing any use if contract type, size, time, entry, exit and stops are posted. . .but oh well! paysense FYI beansie, what are many bitching about the need to have stats on neutral calls???
This would be the best way to track from a trading perspective. BTW, the quest acct. is valued at 61 bucks, and remains in a single qqq put position.
True, Rennick seems to be a funny guy. I think you'd have to be crazy to trade off of anyone's "advice" from a forum which is why I have such a negative view of the thread, but to each his own, I'll leave him alone.
WED. 8/27 1:33 pm dow +109 The "Ball" remains NEUTRAL calling for FLAT Market action this afternoon. Expect the Averages to roughly maintain current levels. With the threat of Gustav, and also the revelation that this current strength is rumor related my trading gut (not the "Ball") is contrarian on this seemingly bearish news and I think we should remain neutral, but with a positve bias into the close. Predicted close dow+153 and so it has been foretold... The Amazing Rennick out
I agree there is no way you can spin this am's call as "accurate" with the down -5 we are neutral and now with the dow +100 we are still neutral??? :eek:was there any point the "ball" was positive?....I think I'm over the ball
