I was long sgxnk contracts yesterday, but coudn't close the positions because of a family emergency. NIY is the contract you want. Its equal. Not sure if they settle identically. If they do, then you're good. But you have to wait 3 months.. or you can just wait til Sunday night.
thanks, scriabinop23 So for every contract long on sgcnk, I sell one niy. and monday, when sgx opens, close both positions. dont have to worry abt how they settle. thanks much for your help.
as in PM, they don't ever trade simultaneously. i recommend you close the sgxnk at end of japanese session, and close niy a few hrs after. its late at night though, beware. better than the open, since the open is very wild...
