* UPDATE This is an update to the blog posted yesterday TCB Financial (TCB) - Earnings Preview and Vol Patterns. TCB is trading $16.73 with IV30™ down 5.6%. In yesterday's article I noted that: TCB has followed a consistent pattern for five out of the last six earnings starting with the 1-22-2009 cycle and ending with the last earnings cycle on 4-22-2010. Specifically, a straddle sale at the close on the day of earnings and a purchase back the day after was a winner five times. TCB released earnings this morning, the Options Tab today (after earnings) is included (in the article). We can see the ATM straddle is now worth $0.95. Yesterday, the straddle was worth the same. The one day trade pretty much just burned commissions. The updated earnings and dividends stats are included (in the article). This is trade analysis, not a recommendation.
