Update on my experiences with WorldCo

  1. I forgot to mention this part. I asked my (future) group leader about the 99.5% [ayout. He told me that even he doesn't get that. He did say there a few people that get that much and even some at 100%. However they are a select few and the best and top traders at the firm. I don't believe he mentioned any names. But when I think about it, if I am making 20,000,000 a year, would I complain about the half a percent different in payout ? I don't think so, but ya never know. When I reach that level I will keep all of you informed as to wether or not I am satisfied. I'll probably have to post that info next month for you all.

    Happy trading.

  2. I have been subject to a great deal of scrutiny as you all know, and therefore have had to stick to reality, knowing full well each and every comment will be dissected by some of you out there.

I know (perhaps better than most) what "deals" are out there, and have friends at every firm on this board who tell me what is going on.

The problem that arises when someone "exaggerates" or tells a partial truth is that some people may be swayed into thinking that the "grass is greener" when (in most cases ), it is not.

If we stick to the facts, as they pertain to ourselves, then we do the board and each other a great service. I say this knowing full well that BT may not be #1 in every single category, but at least I would like to compete on a level playing field.

PS ...If anyone is making $20Million this year, please let me know ... lol

  3. I just read a boat load of junk here. I am supposed to meet with Worldco in the near future. They don't sound that great according to most of the readers here. Any suggestions?

  4. Yo dude, there is NO ONE at Worldco on pace to make even 1/10 of the $20 million you mentioned (out of almost 800 traders). I know this not only from knowing who the top few traders are and having a general idea of how they are doing, but more than that I know this because the top 30 list is printed every freaking day. To make $1 million a person needs to AVERAGE $4,000 a day. If you are down one day, even just $1,000, then you would need to make $9,000 the next day to keep the average (obviously, you could spread out the additional needed, it doesn't need to be made up in one day. But you get my point). The top 30 list alone shows that no one is making several million this year. Indeed, I would bet that this year it is likely that no one is going to make $2 million. If anyone does somehow make that much, it will be one person (and I will know who it is!). Meanwhile, the good majority of traders are making NOTHING! I continue to point these things out in order to try to prevent new traders from being duped! StockRock1, please stop talking out of your ass. If you are making decent money trading, just be proud of the truth, cause making money is so tough now. If you aren't making any money, then just join the crowd. But stop exaggerating and blowing smoke dude!

  6. Seems to me you did more than miss the boat. Please show me where I said anyone was making any amount of money and most definitly where I said I was making any money ? What am I, a politician that needs to be misquoted ? Maybe when you missed the boat you fell in and got your brain all water logged. Don't take your frustrations out on me, go find another release. Don't put words in my mouth, it only puts your foot in yours.

Let me know when you make your public apology.

  7. Stock Rock 1, I'm sorry. I mixed you up with Treycool. That's what happens when a thread goes on for several days and I don't keep track of who is who. Still, no one at WLDCO is making $2 million this year (maybe a couple people are making a million or so).

  8. More than accepted. Ya see DB, you don't have to fight with everyone. :)

I will consider it a plus year if I can cover the train fare back and forth.

  10. "All of this without having to put down any capital."

I don't get it, with places like this around, why risk your own capital? I must be missing something here, what's the catch? You risk 0% of your own money, and they take all the market risk? Sounds too good to be true...
