I am an upcoming college grad (3.9 GPA, but non-ivy league) in may, and had the unique opportunity this summer to assist a proprietary currency trader at a hedge fund. Live trade execution (some orders > 1 mm USD), strategy formulation, upcoming trade opportunity identification, and risk maangement were all part of my daily responsibilities. I have sent out resumes to some Chi-area prop firms, but was wondering if some more experienced traders out there would give me some job search strategy advice. I appreciate any input, pm's welcome.
Ah hah, well ass = me. We are meeting in a few weeks to discuss some job search strategies/ connections. Thanks for the input.
