How many times do we need to educate you about this... Report: NBA reaches 95% vaccination rate among players Nearly half of the league's teams have said in recent days that they are already fully vaccinated or on the cusp of hitting that threshold. https://www.nba.com/news/report-nba-reaches-95-vaccination-rate-among-players September 30, 2021 NFL COVID-19 Testing Results and Vaccination Rates: Dec. 26, 2021- Jan. 8, 2022 https://www.nfl.com/playerhealthand...-and-vaccination-rates-dec-26-2021-jan-8-2022 Jan 13, 2022 The NFL's COVID-19 vaccination rate as of January 13 is as follows: Nearly 95% of NFL players are vaccinated; nearly 100% of NFL personnel are vaccinated.
So... let's start with the documented facts. Back in January 2021 before vaccines were widely available, the NBA admitted that multiple players have been reinfected with Covid Multiple NBA players test positive for COVID-19 for a second time, sources say https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id...ers-test-positive-covid-19-second-sources-say If the NBA was transparent with information then they would have come out with the list of players who were re-infected. But (probably due to medical privacy concerns) they did not. The only way we knew that some of the player's names was when they came out publicly as being reinfected. The reality is that there were many more than the players who stepped forward in the media. When neither the NBA or NFL performed genome testing or established a comprehensive Covid tesitng program including the off-season -- it's hard to state that either league has any real clue about their levels of re-infection. The level of vaccinated breakthrough infections during the season is more clear -- all the league needs to do is establish the player is fully vaccinated and then actually had a positive Covid test -- hence the numbers are higher. Especially in view that 95%+ of the players are vaccinated.
Are you saying the sources are liars? Why don’t you contact ESPN with your bold proclamation that their sources are liars.
They would be put on the protocol list and not play.No player as far as I know has had to miss games twice because of covid.
This article is also over a year old in Jan 2021. Because testing was less available and there were higher rates of false positives early in the pandemic, there is some level of uncertainty as to how many players had true positive cases early in 2020, especially during the league's three-month shutdown. It is possible that some players who tested positive for the virus but were asymptomatic months ago were false positives. Some players have been tested for antibody levels to determine their level of immunity, but there currently isn't a leaguewide procedure in place to regularly test for those levels.
You claim thousands of unvaccinated athletes got Covid twice but you keep posting articles showing only a few
