Tony, I'm not sure why you have a fixation on a professional sport like the NFL that has the worst...I'll repeat...the worst documentation of Covid reinfections. Regardless, it's statistically normal to have more (much more) vaccinated breakthrough infections than reinfections as explained in multiple posts in this thread alone by myself. My point is if you don't understand that there is in fact almost a 100% of documentation (name, date of vaccination, location of vaccination, vaccine type by the CDC, WHO, State Public Health Agencies)...the vaccinated breakthrough infections will statistically have more infections than the measly 2.5 - 5% Covid verified genomically sequenced reinfections from a similar population pool... Thus, as Trump stated...if we don't test for it...there are no infections. Simply, genomically testing for Covid reinfections is very tiny in the United States. Thus, there are a lot more reinfections in the NFL than you or I know about. The same is true in the general population because the United States literally doesn't have the time to look for reinfections when it's so much easier to find Vaccination breakthrough infections due to the excellent documentation of those vaccinated as we're being viewed as a high vaccinated country. Back to the NFL in comparison to the NBA...I do not know why the NBA is the only professional sports team making an effort to work with researchers in genomically sequencing the Covid positive tests of its players to look for reinfections while the NFL still relies on players honesty or a Team Doctor to say this is the player's 2nd or 3rd reinfection without genomically sequencing to verified the reinfection. As stated multiple times...if you have a sincere interest in learning about reinfections...I highly recommend you research those 12 countries I specifically listed in this thread. The United States is not one of them but at least the NBA (the only one) is allowing genomic sequence testing to be done on the Covid tests by players that tested positive to determine if its a verified reinfection. Anyways, you're welcome to remain fixated on the NFL as a poor source of information for reinfections...I prefer to look at the data of countries or cities that do a much better job in genomically sequencing the Covid positive tests of their population...these countries are abroad (outside) of the United States. In fact, I personally wouldn't use the NFL or the NBA for any type of Covid verification considering there are known athletes in both leagues that have lied about their vaccination status. Thus, had the media not been snooping around in the habits such as that by Aaron Rodgers... Aaron Rodgers would have been documented as having a Vaccination Breakthrough Infection when in fact he was never vaccinated and there were no genomic sequencing of his Covid positive test to determine if it was a reinfection. That's something to contemplate when it comes to the NFL. wrbtrader
I'm not gwb-trading...the info is recently posted in this thread. You probably didn't see the message post. Yet, I will ask you this via an unanswered prior question from one of my recent message post in this thread today... Which country has genomically sequence-verified > 2,796,982 of its population as having Covid reinfections ? I'll let you research the answer to the above reinfection question. Hint: It's not the United States. wrbtrader
