A technical strategiest from Refco was talking about the Aussie dollar versus gold and versus the S&P on Thursday. Since Australia is a gold and commodity exporter, I can see the gold connection, but the S&P connection had something to do with the dollar and probably could be seen in any foreign currency, as far as I understood it.
