Unused Limit or Stop Orders...Any Charge at IB?

Discussion in 'Retail Brokers' started by Corso482, May 31, 2004.

  1. If you enter a limit or stop order, but the order never actually executes, does IB charge you anything?

And if a limit or stop is never hit...do you have to cancel it for a fee?

    Thanks.

No. All IB fees are fully disclosed on the web site.

  4. Thanks, I meant plain orders of US equities not through API, which apparently don't have a charge. I couldn't find a reference on the site specifically saying there was no charge.
