That's exactly what it is. You've got a media selling LIV (low information voters) on narratives, combined with ballot harvesting that is a strategic approach to winning elections. It's not really a vote on initiatives, its a vote on people. And the media does an excellent job of vilifying people the machine doesn't want in power. The only reason you don't call it out is because the media is on your side.

This is a Libertarian and Conservative principle (as an example):

    1.5 Parental Rights

Parents, or other guardians, have the right to raise their children according to their own standards and beliefs, provided that the rights of children to be free from abuse and neglect are also protected.

It's actually right on the LP.org website. And if you poll that amongst the populace, you'll fine 90%+ of conservatives, more than 2/3rds of independents and a close majority of liberals will back this statement 100%.

  2. well if it gets both sides to either stop doing it or doing it with oversight then it would be best for both sides.

Gary Johnson's view point is more in line with mainstream libertarian thinking. But if you want to point to the crazies, no problem.

I see your one random video and raise.

I got a lot of these, by the way.

I don’t disagree, socialists and libertarians are pretty kooky.

Not holistically. But the fringe elements can certainly be.

Just so we are on the same page, I am talking about here in America - socialists and libertarians are a place for oddballs and kooky ideas.

Again, I don't disagree at all. But the core principles aren't kooky at all, regardless of whether you disagree with them or not. They do provide a cultivating ground for kooks to develop, though.

At a minimum, the Republicans should ballot harvest even that of dead people since, they do not even check signatures anymore. The US election system needs a serious clean up. The most the Republicans can hope for now is narrow the Democrat lead thru their cheating. Also, they need to challenge election fraud in the courts more aggressively, hopefully, to throw out fraudulently cast votes. It may take decades to clean up this massive election fraud by the Democrats and RINOs. At some point, people will say enough already.
