Anyway here is the indictment, annotated, for your reading. You may note these are real charges based on real evidence as outlined to prosecute. I warn you though, THIS IS NOT CLICKBAIT: https://www.cnn.com/interactive/2023/08/politics/annotated-trump-indictment-georgia-election-dg/
Trump has not committed any crimes in the Georgia 2020 election and aftermath. However, if the case makes it to jury, he will be convicted.
first, it's CNN - so there's a better than 75% chance its clickbait just by definition. Second, you're giving me an indictment, but I'd like to see evidence of the wrongdoing. I'm sure we'll get to see it soon, right after all the other evidence we were supposed to see that ended up not being shown or found or provided. Which makes this clickbait of the worst kind, if that's how it goes down (again). Somewhere, Robert Mueller is nodding sadly at my statement.
Man you are hopeless. I gave you annotated version because it is easier to navigate. Here is the raw indictment. https://d3i6fh83elv35t.cloudfront.net/static/2023/08/CRIMINAL-INDICTMENT-Trump-Fulton-County-GA.pdf You can play the lost in space character if that is what gets you through the day though. Golly-gee schucks you mean to tell me a criminal indictment and a tweet are two different things? Gee wiz, what’s next?
The problem is that he is being charged with non-crimes. I do however expect that if any of these cases go to jury, that he will be convicted.
why? He won the election, he gets to prove it now. Aren't you celebrating the exonerating report he slapped together yesterday?
It is a well written indictment but only got through half....I wonder if most of the underlings also indicted will feel the heat and flip... for me that would actually nail the coffin.... except for Rudy... he is so batshit crazy he is too impeachable as a witness.
https://edition.cnn.com/2023/08/16/politics/giuliani-trump-legal-bills/index.html Rudy Giuliani made desperate appeal to Trump to pay his legal bills in Mar-a-Lago meeting
It’s a large indictment with 19 charged and 30 more un indicted coconspirators. They list something north of 150 acts in furtherance of the crime - meaning there is a lot of evidence. A normal RICO will work off of like 3 phone calls. What really gets me is Willis claims to want to try all 19 together before Supwr Tuesday which is kind of crazy considering the Fed’s will definitely want to try Trump first. We will see what happens with Mark Meadows suit to move the charges to federal court then how Willis and Smith can work things out - right now they do not seem to be on the same page and Willis doesn’t seem to want to work with the Feds time table.
