yield to worse can't be 0.013 or whatever number was on screnshoot(maybe, maybe you mean 0.013 *100? and forgot to multiply by a 100?) then it would make some sense.. even if it's called right after customer bought it. the price at ask was 97.83.
as i said before-in finance world most commonly used are those two-to worst and YTM. YTM might be misleading, but it is up to the customer to figure this out. it's all right on front of him. he have to assume that his bonds might be called at any time. and make appropriate calculations\adjustments. and you have to NAME them properly or at least provide that information in help file. as i said-i have no idea, what is the difference in your TWS between current ask yield and ask yield. sounds confusing, isn't?

the phrase "current yield" is an industry standard term referring to the formula described in many places including e.g. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Current_yield.

Weekly ES Futures Options for Jan 24th refusing to show up on OptionTrader regardless of how many times I check and uncheck the box and restart TWS.

Is something replacing OptionTrader soon? Has IB just kinda let this go? Does anyone else even use this?

I just double checked - this works fine; can you please make sure you have "All" selected in Trading Class filter in Option Trader (and, naturally, "Jan 24 '14" checked in Expiries)?

If this still does not work for you, please reach out to me via PM and I'll help you out further, thanks.

    Thanks for the response dst.

That was it. Big dumb user error on my part I guess.

Somehow the "EW4" became unchecked in the dropdown. I don't think I did it and this was the first time I've ever had a problem with anything showing up on the weeklies...but there it was...unchecked.

This might be something for you guys to think about on the interface. If a user can check Jan 24, but another box (which nearly equates) conflicts with the selection... I don't have an answer really as to how to clean it up, but some of the EW1-4 and date selections seem a bit redundant.

Thanks again for your help. You have some slow users out here.

    TICK-NYSE Problem?

Not sure if it's my machine or TWS ---
Using IB's charts (2 Hour - 1 minute) I can see the TICK-NYSE going above and below 0, that is it plots positive and negative numbers

However, when I look at the TICK-NYSE line in my TWS quote main screen, the LAST goes blank whenever the TICk goes negative.

Does anyone else see this? I'm running TWS 943.1b.

This is a bug. It's fixed in current TWS beta and will be back-ported to 943 shortly.

  9. Two new bugs in 936.9n (OS X / Unix Version):

After updating Java to 1.7.0_45 (or the newer 1.7.0_51, for that matter) on OS X, the 'periods' setting of an indicator sometimes (often) gets stuck - the input field is no longer clickable, thus it is impossible to enter a new value. Only workaround currently is to create a new indicator (and hope it is at least editable immediately after creation) and remove the old one.

    Worked fine with Java 1.6

Second bug, also with 936.9n and Java 1.7.0_45 (and _51):

When expanding drop-down menus by clicking the down arrow to show hidden menu items, large parts of the main TWS order management window disappear. Seems to happen only if the 'down arrow' is positioned over the main TWS order management windows, e.g. with shorter drop-downs like 'Trade' or 'Account', not with 'Analytical Tools'

This also worked fine with Java 1.6

It is interesting that both problems did not occur with Java 6, because Java 7 is actually the 'required' and recommended Java Version according to the TWS system requirements page...

maybe some one can help me with explanation

14:24:31 bunch of trades at 116.17-116.18 which appears to be below current bid. how could it be?
i mean-are those trades seriously occur in this particular order, below current bid?
can anybody confirm this, using different provider?

    Thank you!
