yeah. unfortunately (for me) i have to go back to a paper/drawing board. even with old stuff still profitable-as you said it here-it's just not worth it. IB is making more in commissions on me than i have in profits :)
so i put everything on hold and just testing, programing few ideas. i can't do it in same time(as it was back in a day).

Bob, you will turn out to be a successful index futures trader. Its a given. Might take some time though. Good luck :)

Thank you! i hope so. i got up to the point where (part of GS elevator jokes) i either go big or go home :)
i might go back to my old stuff, but not in this permanent bull market. i need some volatility\uncertainty. that's where my old stuff performs best. 2007-09 are my best years

same thing today. there is no disconnections or anything on my side.
charts just stop adding bars after been open for a while(30 min?)
i never used them in the past, just to quick check stocks that i'm trading.
but it's pretty annoying. dunno why they stuck. anyone else having same problems?
any explanation from IB about how i suppose to deal with it?

    Thank you!

Thank you! i suspect that 'weird' way on screenhoot is due subpenny trades. the trade at 4.14 is not really a 4.14,but rather 4.13999999

i would never understand how SEC allowed such mess.they are the ones to blame.

    Bob,

    Does your Risk Navigator work?

I have two versions of TWS standalone running on separate machines (on different days in different locations) - a laptop and a desktop. Both TWS versions were several years old.

On the laptop, it runs fine.

On the desktop, a few months ago I started getting "No Equity Positions" and it would just try to update for weeks at a time without ever finding anything. I upgraded today on the desktop and launched the Risk Navigator and now I just get a bunch of error message boxes stacked on top of each other.
