imo-it's kind of logical path. why do you need customers to vote for it? strange..if you provide the news via TWS-next step is to provide same feed for API users. cause everyone has it. IQ feed for example. customer can have it in third party application or in his own via API. if i was you-i would done this long time ago.
i'm lost in this..what's up with all those versions? why there is too many of them? what's the difference? can you make this LESS confusing?
For anyone using BookTrader - I'm currently running TWS 936.9. I upgraded to 939.3 this weekend and tried it out on the Demo account. I was unable to drag an order from an entry (buy or sell) once I had clicked it onto a specific price. I had to cancel and re-enter. I've reverted to 936.9 so that I can drag an order once placed and it works fine. I could not find any new "default" that might have been added as a "new feature". Has anyone using 939.3 observed this very significant change in BookTrader's functioning? Jack
boy oh boy..another day another problem. this time IB wont' display my order no matter what. i don't even know where it's routed(if ever) how we suppose to trade in such environment- i don't know. account on the left is a corp account without data subscription. that's why i was using data from account on the right. trying to cover some of the shares on this crapper, but no matter what the price is-it doesn't' show up in TWS. it's not hidden. just a regular limit order. you can 'route'(in quotes because i don't even know,if it's been routed anywhere) to any exchange at any price(higher than current bid for example)-it's won't show up. IB! how did you accomplished that?
The yellowish tint on the ticker line makes me think you don't have realtime market data subscription - is this the case?
one more time-the account on the left-doesn't have data subscriptions(yellowish ) account on the RIGHT side -does have ALL data subscriptions. on account without data i placed an order to buy at 2.43,but price on the account with real time data doesn't show it. price on the bid is still 2.42.
There is a bulletin in top right corner of your TWS - please take a look - there is system wide issue with NASDAQ (not specific to IB).
i see it,but the rest of this stocks i'm holding doesn't seems to be affected.(at least data) when you try to route to bats you got this-
