then after i cancel my order, i see this-same size, but 10 cents above my price. the offer later disappear,as order got cancelled(status-red)

my questions are-why IB playing with my orders? why IB not JUST route my orders as it suppose to do? i mean-i see often, that if my order GTC to sell bond position that i already own is 'away' from whatever they called market-it wasn't displayed anywhere and not routed anywhere, while status still green. even if i was only a seller at that time. and i always puzzled with executions that occur at prices higher than my offer. now i know-my order wasn't on any exchange.
how one suppose to close his position,if i can't place my order at my price? looks like IB is reinventing the concept of trading. it's not up to customer anymore. IB is the ultimate decider of what they can do with your position. if they feel like it-your order won't be on exchange. even if the status orders says-it is properly 'routed'(green)
#2 what's up with quotes 10 cents above my order? don't tell me that this is some bond HFT. what are you showing us and why those quotes are gone when my order is cancelled

    Thank you!

This probably won't help at all but I'll throw it out there anyway. Sometimes if you pull up quotes for a security for all possible destinations (choose Direct and not Smart when you pull up a quote line and then select all destinations), you will see a stale quote coming from one of the destinations. The quote doesn't actually exist but IB decides it can't cross that quote anyway. So your order goes in at a modified price such that the order won't create a crossed market. What you can do is lift these phantom quotes by directing an order at that destination at that price. The phantom quote disappears and now you can route normally without price modification. My experience is that routing anomalies are usually caused by incorrect IB quotes. Again, this probably won't help you at all though.

the funniest (or retarded, depends on how you look at it) problem is that -i can't get into direct quotes menu for corp bonds, because i don't have a cusip subscription and since we have geniuses in charge at IB-THE CUSTOMER CAN'T GET QUOTES FOR A CORP BOND USING IB ID. you need either ticker or cusip.(good luck go thru ticker for those GM bonds, there is a hunderds of them).i thought that what's 'check cusip' is for,but nope..boy oh boy..what was that Mr Peterffy was asking? input? let him read this thread.

the price for this particular bond goes up to 102.49 and automatically cancelled at 102.5 for whatever reason. makes me think that there is certain 'precautionary value' hard coded on IB side. where they got their numbers from or based on what- i have no idea.would be nice,if it was explained on IBs' site.
at 102.5 order got cancelled and quote slightly above this level displayed. quote is gone after my order is cancelled.
the fact is-because of that-if you have GTC order at whatever price and this price by IB's 'calculations' fell out or their range-your order is not going to be routed anywhere. that is-you have no chance of closing your own position at your own price. if one look at the daily chart for this particular bond-he would see that 102.5 is not something unusual or 'not fair' . this bond been traded far above that price.
how trader suppose to place GTC orders and keep track of them,if IB is not handling them properly?
every time - touch something in this TWS platform-all i see is bugs and glitches, everywhere.let's try to place one order manually on bonds, just for a s**t and giggles-oops..there is it.

    We are addressing the issue.
The second order is rejected because of a pending cancel at the exchange/dealer on the first order.

    Thank you!
it makes sense. this would explain the message that i can't short it.because i have 10 in pending cancel and trying to place a sell order for another 10. the problem is that this cancelled order stayis like this(pink color status) all day long and finally gone after(i guess)nightly reset. coming up more screenshots with small minor bugs related to a bond trading
