Universal Health care for Americans ??

  1. Eight

    Eight

The head of the Canadian Doctor's organization said that their system is seriously flawed and nobody wants to talk about it... Stories come out of Britain about thousands of babies born in taxis, stairwells, etc. after they tripled the funding and of how the doctors indeed are "death panels" in that they just put people on a list that they think are terminal and cut off care to them... keep your ear to the ground, don't just believe every leftist writer / bullshit artist...

And does Germany have a huge and permanent underperforming bitchy underclass that will NEVER pay taxes like the US has? Hell no, they are all Germans there...

Don't get sick in France on weekends either, the doctors have the weekends off...

Sooo.. there are these 45 million uninsured here in the US.. that has been analyzed, it includes people that are here illegally, people that don't want insurance even if it's free, people that are going to only be 4-6 months without insurance etc... Liars are doing everything they can to make this into a crisis when it isn't even a crisis.. they talk about people that get cancelled when they need insurance the most... but those people LIED on their applications!!!!!

The reform that we need is on the insurance companies.. pass a law that they have a few months to cancel people that lie and they can't do it after a claim.. pretty simple..... I'd be perfectly happy if that is all they did...

Further, if some marijuana smoker that can't hold a job doesn't have health insurance.. well, they are known to be lazy all over the world... so they choose to smoke dope... and they can't do a level of work that gets them benefits on the job... who gives a flying f%^k if they are insured or not? They don't !!

Motorcycle riders fought the helmet law... I was saying all along, if they aren't wearing a helmet they don't get healthcare after a wreck, leave the choice up to them whether to wear a fricking helmet or not...

I quite agree. My understanding is that about 0.5% of babies are born outside of materity wards in the UK due to shortage of midwives and/or beds.

Does anyone know the current equivalent percentage in the US?

I had no problem being treated on a Saturday. What's your source for this information? Perhaps things have changed now.

  3. The anatomy of a "truth-lie":

Mr. Obama has been forced to state that he will not sign any bill that allows for illegals to have healthcare coverage, so this is NOW a true statement.

The flip side is Mr. Obama and his merry band of socialists will grant some sort of amnesty and presto..........

  4. Do I have to list all the things that are Socialist in America? That word only comes into play when its your socialism thats not getting subsidized. There will never be a purely free market approach to distributing opportunity in America, so to get it right you have to get past that word ...again NEVER, its always going to be some sort of hybrid creature that you can't condense to fit your wrong-headed image of reality.

  5. So taxpayers who don't own land should not get the right to vote?

Do you even understand why the Colonists went to war?

  6. Mom?:)

Although I would agree with your assessment only on the micro-level, it is an undeniable fact of history that there is a macro plan for the implementation of marxist-socialist doctrine in western democracies, the US of A being the laggard.

I am working from memory, but there was a perennial Socialist Party candidate for POTUS that in the 1930's stated he did not need to run anymore as a socialist because the Democratic Party had embraced all of the SP platform. The hard left infiltration of the education system, religious organizations and the political/social strata is nearing completion. Taking control of the health care delivery system, air waves/communications and the "globalizing" of our legal and financial systems are the last items on the list.

To play off of Judge Bork's book title, we are truly slouching towards Babylon, by design I might add............

  7. Frankly the randomized approach to organizing a future for mankind with unforseeable challenges that can come around like
meteor strikes, trillions to really get the infrastructure to where
it works the way it needs to, attending to disease and famine worldwide will need a cooperation that in these times seems undoable. The kinds of responsibilities childrens futures are
going to come up against I don't believe can be taken on by
mobs whose only interests are their personal lots. I trust corporate self centered ambitions less than I trust government, afterall government gets subverted by their lobbys not the other way around and republicans have always favored privilege and trickle down is just another way of saying, I'm taking my bonus out of your pay, what are you going to do about it.
World government where borders and devisive primitive traditions are put into the past just seem to me like the only sane approach to a future that I won't be part of and I don't have kids but you just have to start trusting somebody sometime and the corporate model is just too self absorbed to be entrusted with
that responsibility. Obama has two little girls and he isn't Snoop Dog however he's characturized that should be some clue that at least his intentions for a future that minimizes strife are genuine.
We're trying to have a civilzation here and that means cooperation not competition.

  8. I respect the honesty of your statement.

I oppose your vision of the collective over the individual, but I regretfully feel your view is gaining momentum. So I am probably going to be a relic sometime in the near future !

Your remarks that Mr. Obama would not imperil his daughters futures, is lacking. The political elite of this nation will never be under the same laws and mandates as the rest of us.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions.
