Yes...I understand your "different points" although I'm not sure which specific point you think I don't understand. With that said, please give an example of "Asians that have zero representation in those areas of the sports you mentioned". Hint: I'm now keying on your use of the phrase "zero representation" as bolded above considering there are in fact Asian players (very low %) in both the NBA and NFL. Yet, the sport that has the most (growing) Asian representation of the sports you mentioned is MLB (pro Baseball). Regardless, those sports you mention and the disparity...no disparity on the high school and collegiate level but those are typical sports that Asians typically don't pursue beyond the collegiate level with the exception to Baseball. Also, the diversity programs in the sports you mentioned are more orientated towards recruiting referees, front office/management to recruit more women and minorities considering this tends to be the area of complaints about "disparities". Tonight while watching Monday night football, they highlighted front office people for one of the teams in the game and one was a woman (Asian) although the emphasis was on her gender and not her ethnicity. Yet, my personal experience with Asian athletes involved the sports that I mentioned (e.g. tennis, golf)...sports that have a financial barrier and resources barrier that other minorities don't find too attractive. wrbtrader
