No need. After this, I don't think anyone would want to sign up with UnitedHealth. UnitedHealth right now is like United Airlines after that "re-accommodation" incident. Somehow whenever a company has the wording "United" in its name, it's always up to something fishy.
My understanding is he suffers from severe back pain. I suspect in addition he is fighting with them to get adequate pain relief? Delay, deny and defend? We have to constantly deal with insurance on pain medications with lots of prior approvals, delays... I understand the frustrations. But killing?
Not much pain but had numbness of the loins when sitting down, so no more Mr happy. He took the wrong drugs to compensate, leading to tragedy.
Apparently he had successful surgery back around late July to August of 2023 and it completely alleviated his back pain. He confirmed it himself so it's not back pain https://people.com/murder-suspect-luigi-mangione-discussed-back-pain-ibs-on-reddit-8759428 He went to Japan earlier this year and then all of sudden he went quiet around June or July of this year and then he just stopped communicating with his friends and family. His mom even filed a missing person report in San Fran in November. But before June or July of this year, he was all normal, all fine, never political or vengeful https://people.com/luigi-mangione-b...efore-brian-thompson-shooting-reports-8758716. Something happened in June or July that completely changed him. Insurance cost shouldn't be an issue. He came from a well-to-do family. Worst comes to worst, if his claims got rejected, he can always pay for the cost himself. And what's interesting is that he never dealt with UnitedHealthCare. His coverage that he talked about in an online post from 2018 was actually with Blue Cross Blue Shield https://abcnews.go.com/US/ceo-shoot...one-appeared-discuss-spine/story?id=116660500 Why would he need to kill an insurance exec from UnitedHealth? They need to find out what happened to him in June/July of this year...He was completely changed after that time.
He is fighting extradition to have his trial in New York. And his lawyer's office has already received offers to pay for his legal bill https://www.cnn.com/us/live-news/br...unitedhealthcare-shooting-12-10-24/index.html His lawyer is using exactly the same line of defense as I have stated earlier basically saying there is no evidence to prove that his client is the guy; everything is circumstantial.
Altoona is 286 miles from NYC, Pokemon 286 Breloom the mushroom game character on his social media. He shot the CEO in the back only once, maybe with a chance to paralyze instead of killing. Chance the ballistics won't match, what kind of game is this?
No he shot the CEO three times, first time in the back, and then once in the calf (my speculation is prevent him from running away) and then two more times in the back until the guy is dead.
He really killed him but he's going to beat the murder charge if the ballistics don't match. I think his game plan is to beat the murder charge, knowing he would be caught with a gun that didn't match. They say before his injury he was a good guy, now he's on a vendetta.
Like. Vote for pols that will change it????????????? Note, I'm not saying what the kid did was right either but the system is broke and no fix is anywhere in sight.
