I saw threads asking if everyone could Crowdfund his defense and someone had a Time Mag “Person of the Year” t-shirt with his smiling face. Insurance Kingpins are asking “Why they not love us?”
CEO sold stock because DOJ investigation? Wife said he had received threats, but has no security with him? Maybe inside job, his schedule was not secret? Shooter was very calm, cold blooded and ignored the witness. If the Shooter was hired by people that had millions at stake, he'll never be seen again.
If you've got hundreds of thousands of dollars to hire a Shooter you probably aren't going to spend it on a possible life conviction, you'd pay the in dispute Medical expense yourself. It's a reasonably intelligent probably disadvantaged person whos angry at the Insurers ripping people off. They probably killed a family member of his or something.
rly? The DOJ was after him for the $15MM stock sale. Shooter was very calm... and doesn't know how to operate a firearm.
The CEO himself may have hired the shooter to kill him - would not be the 1st time this has happened & he was knee deep in DOJ sh!t. A murder while at work nets the family a big payout from his company which could be the motive. He has death threats & is walking alone down a dark mostly empty NYC street? Seemed like he could care less about his safety.
Assuming he would get caught. If he's really smart, he should get out of US and go to a country that has no extradition treaty with US and just quietly live out the rest of his life. If he's lucky he might find a local and settle down and have a family. If he's not, he will be "Old Man and the Sea". But I have a feeling he won't. He wants to be found and he wants to be known. They found monopoly money in his backpack apparently which means he left it there on purpose for the police to find. He also wants to be notorious but to be known as someone who revenged for the millions who perished due to their life-saving claims being denied for the coverage that they paid for and qualified and finally brought scrutiny to private health insurance and forever changed how private health insurance is. He is too young to realize that that's not going to happen. He will be a sensation with his fame and then very soon, he will be forgotten, by the media, by everybody and private health insurance will still go on scamming everybody denying coverage that policyholders paid for; it's just now all the executives are going to have bodyguards with them at all times or having all meetings on TEAMS while he either rots in jail or lying dead in a grave if they decide to pursue the death penalty for him. Nobody will come through for him because nobody can condone cold-blood murder even if the reason carries some meaning of justice. If you really want to bring about changes, you can never do it through vigilante violence, you have to do it the right way, to become lawmakers, to become activists, to become advocates to change private health insurance fundamentally. Killing one person won't change anything. The CEO will be replaced and everything will continue just the same. Like I said, if he's smart, he should get out of the country and just live out the rest of his life quietly. That way, at least his life is not wasted.
So why the flashy showing of monopoly money in the backpack that's deliberately left there for the police to find? He could've been killed off by what looks like an accident. That way the payoff to the family would be even larger.
