This is interesting, but when you think about it, not surprising.

People who stay at a hostel are more likely to be from that segment of society in which part of the culture is that you don't cooperate with the police.

Because even though you may not be a criminal, that doesn't automatically mean that the police are the good guys.

Well this business model is not true for other companies of other types of insurance. When I was working, I used to work for a property insurance company. And the head of our department explained to us that property insurance companies is comprised of two divisions, the business division and the investment division which invests the premiums that is collected and the business division never makes money and it's the norm to be so because that shows that we are taking care of our client that we are paying up claims in amounts that's larger than the premiums that we collected and it's up to the investment division that makes positive investment return to offset the losses from the business division so the company as a whole is still making a profit.

Now why can't private health insurance companies operate on this same business model? This way you can still be profitable and self-sustaining without government subsidies or support but at the same time still looked after the needs of the policyholders and supported them when they needed the financial support the most. And honestly I am surprised that health insurance companies, the company that provide financial support to literally make the difference between life and death of its policyholders don't work in this model and instead have to use fraudulent schemes delaying claims to make money.

you worked for a poorly run insurance company. A good insurance company will make money on both sides.

A former bodyguard of the late UnitedHealthcare CEO was dumbfounded by the lack of security for Brian Thompson after he was killed in a fatal shooting, sparking a manhunt in New York City.

“It was baffling, to be honest with you. You know, you get at somebody in the No. 1 health care organization in the United States of America, who is a corporate executive, a high-ranking one, as a matter of fact, just sitting on the board of directors, and he has no protection around him, that is just baffling,” Philip Klein said during his Thursday night appearance on CNN’s “Laura Coates Live.”

“I don’t understand it. We still don’t understand it,” he added.

Thompson was killed right before 7 a.m. local time Wednesday outside of New York Hilton Midtown, where he was supposed to speak with investors at an annual meeting.

The health care executive was shot in the right calf and in the back, New York Police Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny said. He was declared dead 30 minutes later in what law enforcement called a “targeted” shooting.

Police are still looking for the suspect who is on the run as the manhunt reached its third day. The gunman’s photos have been released since the homicide took place. Police are testing for fingerprints and collected DNA on a protein bar wrapper and bottle found near the shooting site.

Police believe the suspect left New York City on a bus.

Klein, who is the CEO of Klein Investigations, told CNN host Laura Coates that there could be two reasons why Thompson did not have security detail around him.
“One, it could have been a personal choice. He may have not liked living in the bubble,” Klein said Thursday, adding that instead UnitedHealthcare may have chosen to not provide security for Thompson.

The longtime investigator stressed that he does not know the answer, but that the circumstances are “highly unusual.”

“It is highly unusual for the CEO of a multibillion-dollar corporation not to have people around him. It’s just — again, it’s baffling,” he said.

  7. I am not sure security would have prevented it. I mean..our amazing secret service and all the greatness. If you LOOK AT who is out there running things and working in the field these days. Its like watching an entire train wreck in very slow motion. It turns out that fat lesbians and trans and autistic younger dudes just dont seem to carry the same weight. And that includes many many areas of endeavor in the USA today. If I were a CEO today..or anyone that needed protection or safety or even just flying in a plane without it crashing.

And I havent even mentioned going to the doctor(they are now nurse practitioners from Online fake schools). Hospitals over flowing with illegals and third world doctors. The people running these places are totally inept and basically Enemy Number One. Pump and Dump biotechs supposedly developing cures for cancer. And big Pharma feeding us all the drugs that "help Our daily Lives"..lol

Yea..I could go on and on and on... But I digress.

No..I am not blaming any presidents. Illegals been coming into USA for a long time. Healthcare has been importing working visa people for a long time. And I am not trying to point a finger at younger or LBGTQ. It just all seemed to happened too quickly and with people that arent trained and with experience. And really..I wish I never gave VicBee a hard time about living in Singapore. Americans have a right to live in a high quality environment as they choose. I am Def not going to say Trump will fix it all cuz he WONT. Trump was in office when part of all these problems were created. And even this Post,as I read it back..sounds political. And becoming involved in political thinking or discussion has never, ever been good for me. I am just a Trader and investor. I dont do politics well at all. I try to stay far far away from that discussion.

Can you link us to some tg/autistic Secret Service agents. Thanks.

You see a nurse practitioner when you go to your hospitalist/internist. NP's are BSN's with grad-degrees. When you go to hosp-i-tall you see doctor.
