i had a major operation with nyu langone, very good service and kind staff. my point is that the coverage plan is not “portable”, hence the headache. a single payer system must happen.
Now that CEOs are in season, health insurers are removing photos of their executives from their websites. Healthcare industry rethinks risk after murder of UnitedHealth exec https://www.yahoo.com/news/healthcare-industry-rethinks-risk-murder-202537440.html
Actually it was not a burner phone. It was his real phone but for some reason, they haven't gained access to his phone yet.
Wrong. Unsure if it's a burner as it's an iPhone. https://www.nytimes.com/2024/12/06/nyregion/unitedhealthcare-brian-thompson-shooting.html
If killer used a phone to access the bike, I don't think it could be a burner, and anyway a digital payment method was probably used. Regarding the weapon, I understand and agree it is not what NYPD say it is. What I find odd is how smooth this killer is at clearing it and getting on with the job, like if he was expecting some malfunction. The Starbucks show feels like a piss take if they don't find him.
You don't shoot. I can't explain it any other way and I cannot convey malf-clearing on a pistol if you have zero experience. I shoot a lot. Like 10-20K rounds/year. Everyone is taught malfunction clearing in an intro to defensive shooting class; even in some CCW classes that go a little further than the rote-instruction for the CCW card. There is no way that would be considered a successful drill as he should NEVER have a malf on every shot. He had 100% malfs because he put a 9mm carbine suppressor on a pistol. PCC suppressors don't have Nielsen devices (boosters) to spring-aid the successful cycling of the slide to counter the weight of the suppressor. A gun analogy would be loading my Mk18 with a 30 round mag of 300BO. He looked good bc you don't have a clue what to look for.
“Hostel where UnitedHealthCare CEO Brian Thompson’s suspected killer stayed flooded with reviews — some calling them ‘narcs’ for cooperating hostel where the suspect wanted in UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson’s murder stayed has been inundated with reviews — with some calling workers there “narcs” for cooperating with police. “Snitches get…one star reviews. Since snitches aren’t covered by my health insurance any more,” one peeved critic wrote on the HI New York City Hostel’s Google page. The Upper West Side boardinghouse began receiving a barrage of negative responses after police released photos Thursday of the unmasked suspect, seen smiling while apparently “flirting” with a receptionist at the front desk, according to sources.…” https://nypost.com/2024/12/06/us-ne...with-some-calling-them-narcs-for-cooperating/
