That sounds good but it doesn't always work out that way jem, even in America. A little early 20th century American history reading will give clue about what can happen.
I said we would reset to a new equilibrium. of that there can be no doubt. if you eliminated income tax and capped spending I guarantee our economy would ignite. why don't you give us your take on history. you think ceo pay would go even higher on a relative basis? I think the more regulation and less competition the more the have nots separate from the haves. In fact, the income tax is one of the biggest culprits in separating the haves from the have nots. It makes it difficult to amass capital for investment in new business ventures.
Wouldn't it be kind of fun to just say "sorry but it's an emergency" and stick a butcher knife down his throat? Psychopaths play by a different set of rules no matter what the game is. Sometimes it's possible to just say to oneself "ok, have it your way, I'll be playing by your rules for the next few minutes"
I put together my entire life's history, the negative side of it all, seven decades.. hardly a decade went by without some serious harm from a goddam psychopath. They are in some good neighborhoods and some bad ones. We have the means to diagnose them early in their lives, put their faces up on the web and make a society that would be completely forewarned. Such forewarning would have given my life a completely different outcome, same goes for millions of others... half of murders maybe, nearly all rapes, nearly all con artistry, it's psychopaths.. In the last few years I've taken to going after them if they screw with me, taking their situations and shoving it so far up their backsides they suffer from dizzy spells, but this isn't serving the greater culture.
