Nobody like plague rats. And nobody wants plague rats in the military. Removing self-identified plague rats from the military will improve our defensive capabilities. Same for the medical professional, firefighters, police, and pilots. Their proudly vaccinated co-workers are quite happy when these anti-vax clowns step up for self-identified removal from their jobs.
The fact that those Not Vaccinated are primarily the ones being Hospitalized, ICU admissions and Deaths than those Vaccinated... Darwinism is doing an excellent job in weeding out the weak links in the population. wrbtrader
However allowing the unvaccinated staff into critical workplaces such as medical facilities, defense posts, and other locations with close staff contact is an issue for the vaccinated. The unvaccinated are much more likely to spread Covid and their presence leads to breakthrough cases of Covid among the vaccinated employees.
Very true because vaccines do not have a 100% efficacy to prevent infection nor a 100% effectiveness to prevent severe Covid illness. Therefore, if you can not separate vaccinated employees from not vaccinated employees nor prevent contact between customers / public from those not vaccinated... Those not vaccinated have an increasing threat to the welfare, health, and safety of those around them. Thus, when someone that's not vaccinated says they will quit their job before getting a vaccine... That's when the door should be held open for them to walk out the door. There are lots of unemployed people out there that will be happy to fill those new job openings and just as many graduating from college or completing internships looking for new employment. wrbtrader
A little too scripted there fellas...... Your susceptibility to infection post vaccination is entirely on you and your immune system. It doesn’t matter the vax status of the person you encounter, one or a hundred infectious plague rats. Either the jab and your body’s ability to incorporate it into a defensive mechanism works or it doesn’t. If you’re worried about the virus, get vaccinated - statistically it improves your odds of beating the virus. The older you are or immune compromised the better the odds. Younger, eh..... not to significant. Who knows about long term effects???? The jab hopefully helps you. It does nothing for protecting others.... that’s why they get jabbed it they feel the need.
You just don't understand anything do you? You are not even kidding. Even Beautifulsuffering would have felt too embarrassed to post that Spartacus excrement but you thought, hey, I can get some good bits of corn out of this. To an educated person, that's what it looks like.
No, just being rational and putting aside the contrived political hysteria. We’re hearing more and more about fully vaccinated people testing positive, catching the virus. I’m seeing it in the community and people I associate with. I will say Delta seemed to spread through the area faster than in the early pandemic, hitting both vaxxed and unvaxxed alike. Last few weeks have seen cases drop significantly. Out of the people I know of, the ones who had problems were all obese and/or had serious health problems. I know two cancer patients, both fully vaccinated and anal about their surroundings who contracted the virus, showed symptoms but not serious. So I’ll reiterate, if you’re worried about the virus, if you’re old or bad health. Get vaccinated. All the others I know showed basically nill for sickness to a moderate case of the flu. Personal observations it didn’t matter the vax status. I know several vaxxed that tested positive. Simple deduction, it spreads amongst the vaxxed. Another observation, several people I know tested positive, asymptotic. They tested after learning they were exposed, walking around fully vaxxed. Their jab did great at keeping them from being sick..... not so much for passing a dose to those they loved the most. The vaccine helps you. To what degree is dependent on your immune system. But from what I see it does very little at preventing spread. The whole vaxxed vs. anti-vaxxed narrative is nothing more than a political tool, pure and simple.
Obviously your assertions are not aligned with the science. First -- the person catching the virus (for comparison & statistical purposes) needs to be placed in an environment with a likelihood of exposure which would normally infect an individual with no anti-body immunity. For Covid you can assume that this would be an environment in an enclosed small indoor space within 6 feet of each other with no masks for over one half hour-- which would certainly cause an infection to most unvaccinated people without antibody immunity nearly 100% of the time. Second -- there is a scientific relationship between transmissibility, vaccine efficacy, and breakthrough cases. Generally as a virus evolves to become more transmissible we will see the efficacy of the vaccine go down - this is what we are seeing with Delta. Given a 42% efficacy for a highly infectious disease spread via aerosol then we should expect to see approximately 3% of the vaccinated population have breakthrough cases when they are fully exposed in an environment which would give nearly 100% chance of infection to the unvaccinated without antibodies. Breakthrough cases exist for all vaccines -- however when a population reaches herd immunity it is very rare for the disease to be prevalent in society hence the lack of transmission even by those susceptible to breakthrough cases if vaccination did not provide necessary anti-body levels (over time). For example -- 3% of the population in the U.S. is susceptible to mumps since the MMR vaccine did not provide necessary antibody levels to make these individuals immune. Fortunately due to herd immunity across the U.S. population due to high MMR vaccination level -- we rarely see vaccinated breakthrough cases of mumps. Once we reach a high vaccination level for Covid we will see the same situation where breakthrough cases are very rare.
Once you get it, you are right, it doesn't help you not spread it, but even against delta it prevents you from getting it 53% of the time. Saying it doesn't help with the spread when you are half as likely to get it in the first place makes no sense. You are shockingly ignorant. You understand that the USA is 4 percent of the world population? So you must think that everyone is jumping through hoops because Americans are? Have a think about that. From what YOU see? Well that's how things work, some old man in Oklahoma knows what he knows because he sees things. The alternative is you being unable to grasp the enormity of it are telling yourself stories that make sense to you and make you feel like you have a handle on this other don't. Our entire consciousness is a story we are telling ourselves from the point where we achieve awareness in the womb till this very moment, me typing this, you reading it. Your story is nonsense on this topic. Just accept its beyond your ken, don't read this Covid part aloud.
