What stock is most closely correlated with the price of Natty? I dont want to buy UNG for the rollover decay and the tax headaches at the end of the year. Thanks.
Someone once said, "When the pain of loss reaches its breaking point and you can't take it any more, double up" A generic statement but filled with wisdom... How many times have you sold out w/in a couple of days from the true bottom, only to find 3 to 5 months later, it's close to doubled or more from the low...
A much better idea would be to never put yourself in a position where you are anywhere near approaching max pain. That's what stops are for! Anyone who is still taking large losses, for ANY reason, still has a lot to learn about trading.
Another snapshot to illustrate what an absolute piece of shit UNG is- The UNG U bot is down ($15,360) The 3 stocks I picked at up a total of +$8,209.26 A delta of $23,569.26!! crazy piece of shit that d(UNG)
LMFAO!! UNG at 5 on friday afternoon, releases statement that they will start reissuing shares, so the 10+% premium is going to disappear now, instant loss of capital!!
you hear that asshole on Fast Money say this is going up because so many have shorted it and now have to cover? they should fire the imbecile. but no, idiocy is not punished in this culture, only truth telling
I was very surprised why Tim Seymour said that when the TSCM and Cramer havenot been positive about UNG. I think this news is good for me because I want to buy the stock; the premium issue is over. UNG will trade at its NAV around $9. However, I'll wait after September 28th to see what happens... There are too much manipulation over there; that's what scares me
As UNG only holds the near month NG futures contract, rolling over every month, the problem still lies in the contango it is in with January's contract of NG trading at around $5.25 compared with $3.30 right now. With that, NG's spot has to go to $5.25 by January for you to break even on UNG. Might happen but if you like NG, IMO, it is better to pick up the stocks that are most levered to it (see previous page's papa roach posts). Either way, good luck
