UNG vs GAZ on Feb 14th 2012

  1. What's the difference between these two instruments? What is going on right now? GAZ seems to be much higher % wise than UNG.
     
  2. One difference is that with GAZ you get a 1099 and with UNG you get a K-1 for tax purposes. The K-1 is a pain because they keep amending them and sometimes the amended K-1 arrives after 4/15. I will never buy an etf that is set up as a partnership and delivers a K-1.
    Getting back to your probable intent on asking the question- I have no idea.
