People with masters degrees and JD's are unable to find work right now. Unemployment numbers are being grossly undereported because people simply drop off the rolls after a certain period of time. Large companies are still laying off. When it comes to unemployment, why do we kick people when they are down ? Sure, at any given time there are probably a few percent of the pop. that just doesn't want to work, but most people would much rather get a wage higher than unemployment benefits.
