  1. In the past those unemployed always said something like
"I'm about to enter an internship program at company XYZ..."

    Not anymore.
They say they are unemployed and period.
    Not even slightly ashamed.

    Like in Europe!

  2. That is NOT good!

  3. of course...there is strength in numbers

  4. It's probably because in the previous years, a person who looses a job contributed to his losing it and so he would feel ashamed about it. But nowadays that is no longer the case on most situations of a person losing his job. A person losses his job now because the company can no longer afford to have him or he has lost his job to a guy overseas who asked for a cheaper salary. So it's not his fault, so there is no feeling embarrassment derived from it.

  5. Then watch how they all come to ET and are instantly profitable.

    :D :D :D :D :D

  6. America prospered due to the contribution of H1Bs (Albert Einstein, Linus Torvalds etc)
Time now for Americans to migrate and contribute to rest of the world.

  7. In the past uninitiated blondes always said something like
"I'm about to enter an internship program at company 6.9"

    Not anymore.
They say 6.9 is a 69 interrupted by a period.
    Not even slightly ashamed.

    Like in Europe!

  8. don't say that, sir. :)

contribute what? Our greatest contribution was "how to live on money we never had or could ever hope to have"

    We can't top that.

But what about, can we repeat that golden multi-decade?

Hehehehehe, we are still trying desperately to revive that fire, but the ATM (housing) is broken to such an extent that when you push the button all you get is "insufficient funds" ... but now you never know, "whose" .. theirs or yours?

  9. Mostly true, but companies keep the best employees and fire the worst ones.

    As broker shills?

    LOL
    Funny spin doctoring!
