The first Motorola mobile phone cost $4000 in 1983. It was built in the Libertyville plant USA. Can you imagine how much an iphone will cost if it's built in the US? Elon Musk is planning big in China. Microsoft is replacing Windows 10 with 11. Heaps of old PCs will be obsoleted. Where are the new ones coming from? China. How to decouple?
Easy, not to ask China to build stuff and not to import stuff from China. You know there are hundreds of other countries other than China that can also build stuff. They all have universities, colleges that churn out competent and skilled workers who are willing to work just as hard and maybe even harder than China. Maybe it's time that we give them a try?
Yup and you love reading it. Otherwise don't f***ing respond but you can't. You keep coming back. You love my s***. LOL
It doesn't justify your obsession over China while your forgiving responses when the US or other countries do the same.
If the world went to China 30 years ago it's for a reason. If it's decided to pull out of China (by government law, thus dictatorial, anti business measures) there may be some valid reasons to do it too. But we must accept the consequences of far more expensive products on your store shelves, either because they are made in the US or made in a country that's not as efficient as China. US middle class may not like it but they can afford it. But the vast majority of Americans living on $60k a year or less will vote down any government that increases their cost of living by 30-40%.
