Under pressure from the white house, Mccabe fired hours from retirement.

Nothing says you're confident in what you are doing like rolling it out at 10pm on a Friday night

"committed fire-able offenses under the personnel policy of departmental code/regulations."

Fire-able offenses for FBI agents are usually items which will be prosecuted. Clearly at this point McCabe will hire lawyers who will demand all the files and sue for unjust termination. Coupled with Trump's regular tweets -- McCabe's lawyers have a very strong case that this was political action rather than a proper personal action... in other words a witch hunt.

Trump would have been better off to allow McCabe to slide quietly into retirement -- now due to him pressuring Sessions to fire McCabe this entire situation will be a circus for many upcoming months. Maybe Trump likes media attention, but this particular circus will hurt him in the end.

  4. Canada boy, Canada! You crack me up lad, you totally screw up only accounting for goods not services (and you used EXCEL.. to make a graph) but you act like its news to you today. hahaha, you are so shameless. :)

I am a trader, I am here today as I am doing trading work this morning, bit of code tweaking here, stats there. Have you cleaned your room yet?

Elite Trader this is, not Elite Traitor which you were probably looking for.

(Now you may be correct on the trade defect, but please complete the work.)

Nope, McCabe said he's not going down alone. As of right now, he's going down alone. This will be fun to watch!

  7. Sorry but fire-able offenses may or may not be criminal. Agents are moved out all the time for varying degrees of misconduct. It is neither here nor there though, because the IG has many criminal violations that he can use to supplement his recommendation as needed.

McCabe can and will spend hundreds of thousands that he does not have spinning things in court. It just goes with the turf. My understanding is that he may have a case for getting his usual retirement at age 57 but not the accelerated one at age 50 but the pundits disagree on that and he should work that in court all he wants. The justice department simply fired him, and he can work the implications from there. As far as his lawyers, getting all the documents, yup, they should do that. It will help them to advise McCabe on how much of his life he wants to spend trying to reverse it or get compensation- all while other charges pile up around him. Go for it. The IG and the soon-to-come independent investigator have unlimited ways of humbling him as needed. Most likely McCabe will have a mental breakdown as one of Muellers targets did before this over. Not only is he out of job today, but if they go for a perjury charge, his law license goes too. If he wants his attorneys to antagonize them more, then that's fine. I will watch.

The IG's job is to make sure that the rules and regulations and procedures of the department are followed. He will be a pisser to try to reverse in court because he knows what the elements are that he had to meet legally. And if he wants to try litigation to show that he was targeted politically that will be beautiful. The record will show that the department removed him for turning the whole FBI into a politically motivated shit-show that took the agency down the drain. His goal at this point should be to try to stay out of prison.

OK, thanks. You should read more carefully before trying to call me out.

The article in the OP said: "There are multiple methodologies for calculating trade figures, and the U.S. does by some estimates run a deficit."

So I simply graphed the deficit from the methodology at that link. Which is imports and exports only. I didn't try to hide anything and even put the source on the graph. I just scanned the thread and didn't see anyone come up with $1.02 trillion in services to offset the goods deficit for the last 33+ years. Please show me if I missed it.

Let me say that if the Justice Department does not file criminal charges against McCabe during the next 14 days then it will be clear to everyone that this is nothing more than a political witch hunt.

So do you believe the Justice Department will file criminal charges soon? I don't think so.

I expect Jeffrey Sessions is attempting to save his job by acceding to Trump's will and performing this termination. The reality is that in the end I don't think it will help Sessions much -- I think he will be out of a job in the next three months.

  10. Hahahaa. you are too adorable. That is a way to look at it, not really how it was in context but give you points for kvetching so well, my friend is a genius at never being straight and complaining about being caught out.

@JSOP by the way, does that really stand for Jewish State in Occupied Palestine?
