Yup. Seems to legit to you. Comey has notes on meeting with Trump. Does not have notes on Hillary interview even though she was the target of their investigation. Has notes on Trump, does not have notes on meeting with Loretta about ending the investigation because as he testified, it has always been his practice to keep notes after/during important meetings. FBI was able to find notes that helped them. Was not able to find emails that they did not want anyone else to see. Except that the IG had them. McCabe is going to have a problem with notes for sure. Especially when that little matter of him requesting agents to alter their notes is reviewed by the special investigator who is yet to come.
A special investigator can sort all this out. Too many crimes to keep track of. There is the issue of Strzok altering and editing Comey's draft of the conclusion, and then the issue of McCabe asking agents to alter their investigate reports. the 702's, 302's whatever.
Sorry... the two paragraphs I provided are meant to be unrelated. The first one does not involve McCabe and deals with the following. Ousted FBI agent in Mueller probe softened language in Clinton email case https://www.cbsnews.com/news/ousted...robe-softened-language-in-clinton-email-case/
Well there is no basis for any of what you’re saying. You’re conflating McCabe having problems with OPR related to leaking negative info about Clinton to some conspiracy you believe he was involved with against Trump. The two do not relate. Also, I am very suspicious of this move from OPR, if it even came from them, to move on McCabe without the context of a report. The allegation does not seem serious enough to justify breaking it off from the larger probe.
This is something else and we don’t have any real insight into this. The McCabe situation is something different into itself and represents what may be a larger attack on the fbi itself.
Maybe, maybe not. I’m interested in how such a low level finding against McCabe was separated out and prioritized over the completed report. That’s very suspect.
