    Under God was added in 1950, fact. The word God and Creator were used also in 1776 in an important document, fact, and at other times the word God has been used.

    The pledge was written by socialists...our American heritage is hardly that of socialsm.

  6. This is a grossly misinterpreted passage of Jefferson's. He wrote this to comfort the Baptists that the federal government would not establish a National Denomination. I believe the Baptists were afraid that the Congregationalists would be established as a sort of "Church of England".

    Point of fact: every state (or close to it) shortly thereafter established a state denomination. Always remember that the founders pushed freedom of religion not freedom from religion.

    Many paranoid people feel they are being stalked. Provide proof of your claims. That is typically how paranoid people are handled, ask them for proof.

    Now, the typical response when you ask a paranoid person for proof, is that they become more and more agitated, behaving more and more irrationally to avoid the simple question of proof.

    Cult defined:

    2. a group joined by exceptional regard or devotion for a person, thing, or idea.
    Example: An Elvis Presley cult.
    Example: Blue Oyster Cult.
    Example: Cult following of the movie Rocky Horror Picture Show

    The atheists are a cult of people who are devoted to the ideas of atheism, and advancing their cause and agenda of atheism. They would reshape society to their vision, and their efforts with the Pledge and other attempts to change society are evidence of their cultish behavior.

    Those who do not agree with them are chastised, ridiculed, and attacked as suffering from mental malady.

    Certainly organized atheism is a cult.

    Some people would prefer to go back to segregation in our history prior to 1950, but that was not what the majority wanted either.
